When Abdulrahman Noorah fled the U.S. in 2017, before his trial for the hit and run death of Fallon Smart, the media questioned if the Saudi government had anything to do with his disappearance.
Which is the entirely wrong question to ask. What they should have been asking is what kind of help did the Saudis get from Americans.
Now that we know more about Noorah and the way his attorney Ginger Mooney handled passports, release conditions, and bail in her Saudi clients’ cases, the answer appears to be that they received a lot of help.
