Lori Deveny to Plead Guilty in State Criminal Case

Just days after her guilty plea in federal court to seven felonies, former Portland attorney Lori Deveny is ready to plead out in the state’s criminal case against her, after numerous delays and failed plea negotiations.
A hearing for her plea change is now set for August 16 in Multnomah County Circuit Court. The trial that was set for November 1, 2022 remains on the calendar.
Deveny is set to be sentenced on November 23, by United States District Judge Michael W. Mosman. Deveny remains free until sentencing.
