Oregon’s Rapping Judge
Jul 24, 2023
Jajuane “J.J.” Etheridge has been in prison since Clackamas Judge Susie Norby’s biased proceedings. He is currently applying for relief under Oregon Senate Bill 819, a law that could vacate his conviction due to his actual innocence.
Norby was privately sanctioned by Oregon’s Commission on Judicial Fitness and Disability, but since their records and outcomes are secret, it’s up to J.J.’s supporters to spread the word about his situation.
J.J. has also faced retaliation for reporting Judge Norby to the Commission, and for continuing to assert his innocence.
